Salvatore Airò alias Swiss Music Freak was born in Switzerland. He is 34 years old and lives in St. Gallen.
With 16 years Salvatore Airo made the first experiences to mix with vinyl. Very fast he was fascinated by mixing and studied the different sound styles. His DJ Name was DJ Tavar. Starting from 1994 he mixed mainly the following genres: hardcore, techno and trance! In the summer 1996 he came in contact with the Italian house. Since this experience he mix house as well. The night life was exciting and he mixed in various clubs around Zurich. 2001 after 7 years nightlife he decided to stop with the music for a while. The break lasted until 2007. In September 2007 he met DJ Antoine the Nr. 1 DJ from Switzerland. DJ Antoine infect him again with the DJ fever. Meanwhile he is searching for a DJ Name. Swissmusicfreak is only the Nickname on Youtube.
Salvatore stands in negotiations with the largest party organizer in Switzerland with the most well-known labels such as Starhouse, Kingshouse and Touch the Soul, in order to bring his career as DJ back. He is planning to produce his own tracks. The most influence person for Salvatore is Laidback Luke. Salvatore love his way to mix. For me he is very creative. The preferred genres are Electro House, Progressive and some Oldschool House.
